SOCS provides competitive soccer for kids in pre-school through high school. Open Registration for the Fall 2020 season will begin on June 13, 2020.
For the 2020 Fall season, children must have been born by 12/31/2016 in order to be eligible to play in our youngest age group. If your child was born in 2017, SOCS does offer a Mini-Kicker program for these kids. Details about the spring Mini-Kickers are in the program listed below.
The Fall 2020 recreation soccer season dates have not yet been determined, but typically will run from the weekend after Labor Day until the first weekend of November, depending on individual team scheduling. Each recreation team plays eight (8) games over the season, and typically has one practice a week, the date and time of which are determined by the coach. Kids need cleats, shin guards, gym shorts and a soccer ball. Game jerseys are provided by SOCS. Our registration fee remains a very affordable $95 for the 2020 Fall Season. After August 1, SOCS will offer Late Registration, during which there is an additional $25 fee charged to all late registrants. During Late Registration, children are placed on teams based on roster availability.
If you have any additional questions, please contact the Recreation Registrar.
Open Registration for the Mini-Kickers program begins on June 13, 2020 and will continue until the program fills. The fall program will likely run from early September through mid-October, with 5 total program sessions. The SOCS's Mini-Kickers program teaches beginner level soccer skills through FUN-damental games, exercise and imagination. Players will develop motor skills, balance and movement in a soccer environment that will help them greatly as they grow and get ready to join a U5 soccer team -- kids must have been born in 2017 to participate in this program.
Please wear appropriate outdoor shoes and a bring soccer ball (size 3). Cleats and shin guards are not required to participate, but the fields can be wet and muddy, so we recommend their use. There will be five sessions for forty-five minutes each, and the cost is $65. Participants receive a soccer t-shirt as well.
Session dates are presented below. Any additional questions, please contact the recreation registrar: email@example.com
Saturday Sessions -- Dates: TBD (9:00-9:45a)
Sunday Sessions -- Dates: TBD (12:00-12:45p)

To be a team manager you must register with SOCS, complete a Risk Management, and view the Heads Up Concussion Training Online Video.
